After the recommended two treatments of Profhilo injections, patients can enjoy 6–9 months of feeling more confident! After this period, patients may wish to undergo more ‘top-up’ sessions to maintain the results of increased collagen and elastin production.
We would recommend having your first two treatments around a month apart. Once your results start to show, you can then start leaving 4–6 months between each treatment.
No downtime. Although you may notice some small bumps or slight swelling after the treatment, you can resume back to your daily activities. However, you should wait at least 24 hours before applying any makeup to allow the injection to heal properly.
For the first 24 hours post-treatment, you should avoid any heat-inducing activities, including exercise, spas, saunas and hot showers. This is because this will increase the chances of bruising.
Profhilo treatments improve your skin’s tone, texture, hydration and radiance. Through increasing the production of collagen and elastin, the skin becomes more firm to promote healthier and softer-looking skin. Due to the nature of the treatment, it will not fix deep wrinkles or severe skin sagging, however we do offer other cosmetic treatment options for this.
